Rally raid is one of the ultimate tests of off-road performance. Speed alone isn't enough. A successful rally raid vehicle must combine suspension performance, ground clearance, drivetrain durability, stability, recovery capability, and the ability to adapt as the terrain changes beneath it.

The HobbyPlus DKR-4 FORTIS brings that same philosophy to RC.

Designed as a highly detailed 1/18-scale 4WD Rally Raid Truck, the Dakar-4 blends authentic scale styling with a purpose-built off-road chassis engineered to be driven across dirt, gravel, sand, trails, and rough terrain.

This isn't simply a scale body sitting on a conventional RC platform. From its portal axles and long-travel suspension to its functional recovery winch, 2-speed transmission, twin spare tires, accessible rear equipment bay, and detailed rally bodywork, the HobbyPlus FORTIS was developed to capture both the look and function of a full-size rally raid machine.
Purpose-Built Rally Raid Chassis

Underneath the detailed body is a capable 4WD chassis designed for mixed-terrain driving.

The DKR-4 features long-travel suspension paired with completely sealed front and rear solid portal axles. The portal design provides additional ground clearance for uneven terrain while retaining the solid-axle architecture expected from a rugged scale off-road truck.

Factory-installed front and rear anti-roll bars help control chassis movement and body roll, particularly when transitioning from slower technical terrain into faster rally-style driving.

The result is a platform designed to balance articulation, stability, ground clearance, and higher-speed control.
